SAP Patches released on SAP Security Patch Day - March 12 2024

 

The SAP Security Patch Day in March 2024 offers security patches for multiple SAP components. Today, the SAP Response Team has released several critical patches for vulnerabilities, including three (3) security patches with a Hot News Priority, indicating the highest level of severity. Please download the patches using SecurityBridge Patch Management and verify which updates apply to your installed base.

Out of 12 corrections, we've identified 3 as Hot News, 3 as High priority, 6 as medium priority and none as low priority. Following a risk-based patch management process, we advise you to sequence your activities by priority. However, it's important not to overlook patches with low priority. Severe attacks that exploit multiple low-priority vulnerabilities in a chained sequence have been discovered.

To safeguard your systems, it is crucial to apply the necessary patches promptly. We strongly recommend prioritizing ALL these security patches to mitigate potential risks and protect against exploitation by malicious actors. Keeping your systems up to date with the latest security patches is vital to minimize future vulnerabilities.
